Before The Spinning Color Wheel Becomes Our Primary Source of Energy
From the wastebasket in the far left corner of the living room, a To Do Note from Friday, August 30th—a piece of
notebook paper that had been crumple-crushed and molded by my mind into a stone—is now soaking up all of the
television’s slow-spilling energy. That which was once stone is now taking the form of a giant clam shell; and I
spot something else that cannot be ignored. Zachary C. Bush, 25, is a writer of poetry and prose. He is the author of six chapbooks, and two full-length collections of poetry forthcoming in 2009: AT SWAN DECAPITATION [VOX Press] and ANGLES OF DISORDER [BlazeVOX [books]]. He has new poetry published (or forthcoming) in Abjective, Mad Hatters’ Review, Mud Luscious, Lamination Colony, elimae, Willows Wept Review, [out of nothing], Word Riot, The Externalist, and others. He is currently pursuing his MFA in Creative Writing from the City College of New York, and is founder/editor of KORA. |
